I have been learning from Mrs. Kislyuk for about 3 years and she has been an amazing teacher, she has been very kind, inspirational, and patient, she also helps me with my Orchestra music if needed, and overall I’m very happy to have her as my teacher!
Mrs. Kislyuk is a very knowledgeable and detail oriented viola teacher. My son's playing has improved significantly in the year that he has been taking lessons at Allegro. Mrs. Kislyuk really works on developing students' technique as opposed to simply getting through the material. Her recitals are also a highlight. A wonderful teacher all around. Highly recommend!
Rita Kislyuk has been my son's violin instructor for the past five years. He began lessons with her at the age of eight, without any prior experience with an instrument. It has been a joy to watch him grow musically under her guidance. Ms. Kislyuk is not only kind and caring, but also deeply committed to her students' success. She sets clear expectations and provides the support needed to help them achieve their goals.
Wonderful violin program. My son loves and appreciates Mrs. Kislyuk, who teaches with such patience and passion. I would recommend her to anyone looking to learn from an experienced violinist.

I have studied with Rita for a little over two years. I had not played the violin since 8th grade. As an adult student, I have been challenged, encouraged, and inspired by Rita. She is very knowledgeable, and knows how to pull out musical abilities you never knew you had, or was capable of. I now can read music, memorize musical pieces, and understand the logic behind the written notes….I have grown so much these past two years, thanks to Rita’s professionalism, passion, and commitment to her students young or old.
My granddaughter has been taking lessons with Mrs. Kislyuk for her 4th year now, she's an amazing person, a skillful teacher, and has good disapline, I am grateful that my granddaughter has the opportunity to gain more experience as a player with her.
Thank you Mrs. Kislyuk!Thank you Mrs. Kislyuk!
Our kid is getting violin lessons for almost three years and she has improved a lot from beginner level. Thank you teacher for your dedication.
I could tell what a wonderful musician she was. Mrs. Kislyuk encourages her students to be their very best, paying critical attention to even the smallest details. Even when she moved out of the lesson studio at Wilson's, and even when I had an hour's drive to take lessons with her, I stayed her student all the way through 10 years until I graduated from high school. While it took me through my first year of college, I am able to say that next year, I will be at the School of Music at the University of Michigan, studying composition with a concentration in violin. Without the guidance of Mrs. Kislyuk, I would never have become a musician.
I began learning how to play the viola with Mrs. Kislyuk 7 years ago. When I started, I had no idea how to play the viola. She was both patient and supportive, showing me techniques that helped me master this amazing instrument, which has become an integral part of my life. Her techniques have improved my playing abilities and contributed to my success in school and various outside orchestras. I have thoroughly enjoyed learning from Mrs. Kislyuk and would highly recommend her to any aspiring violinist or violist.
Mrs. Kislyuk is an extremely dedicated violin/viola teacher. She has provided strong support to my daughter through individual lessons and has also worked tirelessly to prepare her students for competitions, performances, festivals, and the Metropolitan Youth Symphony, a prestigious youth orchestra in Farmington Hills. Many of her students are members and highly ranked in their respective orchestras. If you seek quality instruction and a committed teacher, Mrs. Kislyuk will elevate your student to a much higher level.
My son has taken lessons from Mrs. Kislyuk for over 7 years. I often tell people how fortunate we are to have found such a wonderful teacher. She constantly seeks opportunities for her students to grow, not only in technique but also in confidence. Mrs. Kislyuk is a highly talented musician who generously shares her knowledge and love of music with her students. She keeps both students and parents well-informed of their progress. As a parent, I have not only witnessed my child’s development but have also had the pleasure of seeing many of her students flourish into talented, confident individuals through recitals and special concerts.
I began learning the violin with Mrs. Kislyuk 6 years ago. I have acquired many skills from her that I use in both outside and school orchestras. She is very supportive of all her students and encourages everyone to be the best players they can be. I’m very happy that she is my violin teacher, and after 6 years, I am still learning so much.
